Efficient Home: the future is now!

The Efficient Home Programme is an initiative of the Govern launched aiming projects that strive for the environmental improvement of the performance of residential houses and buildings, predominantly. The programme targets all kind of landlords, being oriented for private ones and condominiums. The measures covered by the programme aim to boost the increase of energetic efficiency, using renewable energies, the increase of hydric efficiency and the improvement of environmental performance. These measures are accomplished by the means of different actions, as for instance, application in walls of heat insulation, replacing frames, optimizing lifts, installation of photovoltaic panels, installation of solar systems, purchase of appliances of high energy efficiency among others.
